Walk 15

So
here we are,
at yet another post that I'm writing the day after.
I shouldn't feel that bad should I?
I mean,
I only missed two days.
One, because I was with friends.
The second
(which is where this post should've originally lived)
was because I powered down my computer before remembering that I needed to blog.
Yes, yes,
I am lazy.
So sue me.

Actually...
please don't sue me.
I have no money.
Be my friend instead.
We can make crayon art together!

Good things on thsixteenth of January:
  •  Waking up and going to church with my roommate Kelly.
  • Meeting a tad bit of her extended family. Her aunt and family go to the church we went to.
  • Taking a nap when I got home from church.
  • Eating a late lunch consisting of popcorn, cranberry juice, and a cheese stick. THE LUNCH OF CHAMPIONS!!!
  • Sleeping some more in the afternoon.
  • Wasting two freaking hours of my life watching that movie about Justin Bieber. Wait.... What??? Yup, that documentary thingy called Never Say Never. I am the coolest, I know.
  • Reading some of Pride and Prejudice. I told you it was my favorite! I'm at the part where Elizabeth is on her way to visit Charlotte and has just left from a small visit with her sister Jane in London.

So, Walk 15 consisted of more of Joseph's life.
Remember,
this is the guy who's brothers sold him into slavery in Egypt.
And then he was wrongly accused of trying to sleep with his master's wife.
And after he was thrown in jail, a guy he helped forgot about him when Joseph had made him promise not to forget about him.
I hope you can keep up with all of those pronouns.
So today found Joseph in a much better position.
The guy he helped finally remembered him.
So Joseph was called for to interpret the Pharaoh's dreams.
God gives Joseph the talent to interpret them,
and Pharaoh promotes Joseph to the position below himself.
So Joseph is powerful after predicting 7 years of prosperity and then 7 years of a horrible famine.
Now it becomes Joseph's job to prepare for the famine basically.
Skip ahead a few years,
and Joseph's brothers
(the ones that sold him into slavery)
come to Egypt to buy food.
Joseph recognizes them,
but they don't recognize him.
That's basically the jist of Walk 15's story.
It's pretty cool though,
how God will put you in the exact situation that He needs you in to bless you,
if you're following Him.
It also should give us hope.
Because no matter how dark or hopeless our situations in life seem,
God is always using it for His will.
We may not be able to see it then or right after,
or it may take a few years for God to reveal it to us,
but He's always using it for His glory.

Sorry, I didn't take any pictures of January 15 either. :/
However, I will try to post a semi-entertaining video of my brother!

<3MG

I really truly am sorry that these are all sideways.

^ My brothers in my Granny's basement.

 ^ Josh in my room.

And if you're really really really bored,
you can watch this one:
^ My brother and I ate Long John Silvers. The epitome of quality food.
I'm pretty sure I had a hard time falling asleep that night because of the amount of grease I consumed from that meal.
