Walk 8

I AM
SO EXCITED
FOR THE
HUNGER GAMES MOVIE!
You literally have no idea.
It's going to be amazing.
I totally had a major crush on Josh Hutcherson this past summer.
I was a giant,
and I mean giant,
fangirl.
I sat on Tumblr for hours just looking at graphics people had made about it.
It was quite pathetic now that I think about it.
Story. of. my. life.
Anyways, I really like the single from the soundtrack to the movie.
The one released by Taylor Swift ft. the Civil Wars.
It makes me wish I could sing well.
But that doesn't stop me from singing loudly in the privacy of my own home :)

OH!
DID I MENTION THAT IT'S MY BROTHER'S BIRTHDAY TODAY??
OR WAS... I GUESS I SHOULD SAY.
The kid wanted to go to Red Robin, so that's where we went to eat after church.
I got a bacon cheeseburger and so did Joel (the birthday boy).
Chloe, of course, managed to go to a hamburger place and order pizza.
And Grandma got a salad.
What's wrong with these people?!?
Afterwards we came home and Joel opened presents and then we had cake and ice cream.
Mom and Dad got him an Xbox.
However, the game(s) that came in the bundle with it were rated mature and Dad didn't want him playing those.
So Dad also had the job of taking Josh and Joel to a video games store to get another game or two.
It was a good day :)

GOOD THINGS ON THE 8TH OF JANUARY:

I don't know why he insisted on making this face... but he did.
  • Going to church this morning.
  • Going to Red Robin for lunch.
  • Watching Joel open his presents and eating cake.
  • Taking a nap this afternoon. Considering the fact that I went to bed around 3 a.m., it was nice to get a few hours in this afternoon!
  • Watching Kourtney and Kim Take New York. I know, I know. It's a dumb show. But I like watching it. It makes me feel better about myself ;)
  • Reading Walk 8.

So Walk 8 was about God judging Sodom and Gomorrah.
All I have to say about that is,
I don't understand why God hasn't struck down any cities nowadays.
Because if modern society's not worse than Sodom and Gomorrah,
then we're probably equal.
Or close to equal.
Point is, society is bad.
Please,
please, please, please,
don't lose integrity.
Don't fall into the whims and standards the world/society has set.
People are so much more beautiful, intelligent, and interesting when their hearts are focused on God.
You do not have to fit society's standards and expectations to be
beautiful,
wanted,
loved,
accepted.
Please know that.
